Any way to get the dialpad not to display your last call?

That's really annoying to me for some reason.
Any way to turn this off?

Wow, that really sucks! =(
It seems like such a pointless feature to even have.

So there are dial themes out there with a call button right on the screen, sweet! Where do you get that iPhone theme, but with one that displays your last call lol? I have a rubber case on my phone and the one bad thing about it is the call buttons are hard to press with it on so I've been wanting a theme that just let me hit call right on the screen instead.

You can get the dialer from xda-developers: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=380466

I just simply modified the .dll to see if i could exclude the last caller.

I'm not sure what phones the dialer is compatible with, so use at your own risk.

Modifying .dll for Iphone dialer

How to from webpatrick on xda:

Steps:
1. First you have to find the right DLL, in most cases it's the phcanrc.dll in the Windows map.
2. Open the file in a resource editor like Resource Tuner or Restorator. In the dialog map you find the different dialogs (portrait and landscape) which you can edit, in the edit mode you can modify the fields on the dialog (unfortunately you cannot see the edges of the fields, temporarily use of borders can help).

/andason

I first installed the iphone dial pad skin downloaded from xda link above.

the .dll i modified for the iphone skin is called EtPhone.dll

After I modified it i used signcode_294.zip to register the .dll. I'm not absolutely certain that this was required or not, but i did it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...131#post848131

After signing the .dll i renamed it and placed it in my ppc windows directory. I then went to HKLM\security\Phone\Skin and changed the dll name for the string value ext.

I will post a modified cab if you want to try it on your phone. Just be warned that I haven't even tried the .cab myself.. but the only difference between my modified .cab and the one on xda is the modified .dll
