Yes, I've searched, but must not know the correct term. Is there a place in the reg to get rid of this stupid icon?

Don't know of a spot in the registry, it would have to be replaced with something "more tolerable" and then cooked into your rom.

Hmm... I was looking to eliminate use of the system tray all together. Any other suggestions?
