Recommendations on First Upgrades

OK, I pulled the trigger and ordered the phone.

It should be in in 2-6 days.

What are the groups recommendations for the first "must do" upgrades and apps? Keyboard? Browser? Weather?

Re: Recommendations on First Upgrades

OS: Windows 6.1 (With Rev.A and GPS, my personal opinion is that the "ALMOST OEM" version on the upgrade part of the site is amazing. 100% stable, haven't had to soft reset since I flashed it, and I had to do that on the stock 6.0 OS at least once a day.)

Browser: Opera Mini 4.1 Final

Keyboard: ZoomBoard or Touchpal

Instant Messaging: Palringo

MMS: sMMS (Check my sig for the link)

These are all just personal preferences, feel free to look around =P.

Re: Recommendations on First Upgrades

check out the ppcgeeks kitchen for the vogue (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=26593) to create your own personal rom. read read read and ask questions if you're not sure and can't find the answer after searching the site. As for keyboard, weather, and browser, I like pcmkeyboard, weatherpanel, and opera 9.5. Must haves for me include resco file explorer, sktools, and spb backup to keep the system happy. Pocket plus for my today screen, and pocket informant for contacts, calendar, tasks, etc. MacFlo is a cool add-on for the cube (I use bigbutton supernova). Most is a matter of preference; download trials of software and see what you like. And have a blast!!
