Tweak to raise the call volume (not ringer)

Hello,

I did a search but was unable to come up with an answer. I think the ringers on this phone are just fine. Problem is when I make a call or watch Sprint TV, even with the Phone Volume all of the way up, I can barely hear the caller or the tv show.

Is there a fix for this?

Re: Tweak to raise the call volume (not ringer)

For call volume, when you're making a call, click the volume icon and it should say in call volume and you can raise that, as for sprint tv you need to do a registry edit, in your registry editor go to HKey Local Machine/Software/SprintTV and change the volume variable from 60 to 100.

Re: Tweak to raise the call volume (not ringer)

Thanks Hauk. The tweak for the Sprint TV worked like a charm.

As for the In Call Volume, If you are talking about the speaker icon at the top while I am in a call, it is already at the highest mark, but it still sounds low-any ideas?

Well your in call volume cannot be raised any higher, so you only option is to raise your overall system volume through nueaudio (search it).

Re: Tweak to raise the call volume (not ringer)

The volume(s) for most things in windowsmobile is controlled by a file called "audiopara.csv". Do a quick search in your phones forum.

This file controls, earpiece volume, bluetooth volumes, about 17-25 different volumes in windows.

Here's my personal audiopara.csv that you can use with the 3.xxx series ROMs.

I have increased the range of volume control for calls through normal speaker and speakerphone and increased the BT volume also. So on the lowest setting it is really quiet and very loud at the highest setting. Just make sure your files are not hidden and set the existing audiopara.csv located in the /windows dir to NOT read only. Copy my file to your phone and then use Resco File explorer or Dutty's or Total Commander to replace the audiopara.csv in the /windows dir. Let me know if you need any help.

Cheers,
DJ

Re: Tweak to raise the call volume (not ringer)

I am not too familiar with Roms, but when I start my touch up (just bought it the other day) it shows R: 2.13 or 2.013-something like that. I am assuming this is an older version Rom and what you posted will not work with it?

I did find an Audiopara file on another post, and copied it to my Windows directory, but it really didn't seem to do anything but make the call more "fuzzy"

I thought that Nueaudio app was only designed for the Titian.
