First of all i would like to thanks Chrispipe and everybody that worked with him to produce this rom.

I dont know if all of you guys think like me but actually The Piperom 1.2 is the BEST rom i have ever used on my Touch ... i never had any issues with it ,,, it's prety fast and everything works just like i want

But i dont know what happened cuz now i cant find anything or any update about this rom or even about chrispipe's work ....

So if Chrispipe is back, let us know

No need to bump your post when it hasn't even been 24 hours.

The PipeROM didn't have a kitchen, he created a ROM based on the released kitchen and did a little extra customizing.

I tried his rom and was pretty good although I had a significant batter drain. The GPS and Rev A worked great though. Someone p*ssed him of in his original thread and I don't think he'll continue to suport that particular version.

Great job though Chris!

There was a big blowup over where Chris got his base rom from. Chris got upset over the treatment he got and left. To be honest I think Chris blew the whole thing out of proportion.

To bad, I found his rom to be more stable then most roms here. I didn't like his bloated rom but the basic one was great and with a few little tweaks would have been my favorite.

I wonder how his rom works with the new radio.

Oh boy, here we go again!

I didn't try the ROM but I heard good things about it - unfortunately his ROM is now outdated. Since he's gone, we most likely won't see an update for it. I have tried some of the other ROM's around and have had amazing luck, particularly Derek's ROM V.20.

Yes Derek's rom has to be my favorate so far too. I've had nothing but good luck with it. GPS has been nearly flawless, My Garmin works so well with it. I liked Piprom as well it was pretty stable.

I've been using OMJ's ROM for two weeks now. Rev A and GPS work flawlessly on my Touch. No primers or "kick starters" needed my Garmin, MS Live Search, and Google maps.

As was pointed out, since it was made from the PPCkitchen kitchen, you can recreate it anytime you want, and can build it with whatever the latest and greatest base is as well. Download the kitchen and have at it - it's ridiculously simple.

I never left, I just stopped posting.

PipeROM is currently at v6.5, and it is still just as awesome.

It's too bad some people on here have ruined it for everyone. My ROM's will not be posted. Just letting you all know I'm not dead, just not actively involved in this community anymore.
