GPS Turn-by-turn app

Just wanted to know what everyone recommends for a turn-by-turn gps navigation program. Some are using Sprint Telenav, but I don't have the service (nor do I really want to pay extra). Others mentioned iGuidance (does this require external hardware?)

Please post what you recommend as the most useful GPS software available for the Touch, and post or PM the cabs if possible.

I currently am able to use googlemaps with no priming. But it is difficult to use while driving due to either tracking your location, or having to manually go to each next step.

Thanks,

Re: GPS Turn-by-turn app

i'm using Garmin Mobile XT and i paid for the software and the maps, both of which are stored on a microSD card. Garmin uses my Touch internet connection to download weather and traffic updates. i'll be paying for updated maps when they're available but i prefer to have a stand alone solution vs. relying on Telnav.

It's turn by turn but no voice so I'm required to look back at the screen and can't rely on a voice telling me the next turn is approaching.
