Stuck in roaming

I once successfully upgraded to the leaked sprint rom, but after flashing a couple of different custom 3.xx roms on top of it, then coming back to the leaked rom, my phone has since been in roaming. I just flashed back to the old alltel rom w/o letting the customizations run, but the funny thing is is that my radio and PRI are the same as they where on the leaked rom (3.37.10 and 2.03_003) and I'm still roaming. It doesn't say SprintPCS in my HTC Home plugin either. Does anybody have any ideas on how to get my phone back to how it should be, preferably running the sprint leaked rom?

Re: Stuck in roaming

I just went thru this yesterday.... I use Alltel and using the OMJ's lastest Sprint ROM

I did try the *228 option 2 ... said it programmed.. Well it does for Alltel. You need the newest Sprint PRL file.

Update the PRL file and you should be set! See link below

Re: Stuck in roaming

I have the updated PRL (60612). And for some reason, a good 20 minutes after I finished flashing the Altell ROM, I'm finally connected to the data network. However, I noticed everytime I soft reset I go back to this long session of roaming...

Re: Stuck in roaming

So are you using the Sprint or Alltel ROM now? If you are using the Alltel ROM I would use their PRL file that might make the difference your experiencing.

http://www.corolada.com/prl/ You can get the lastest PRL's from either Sprint or Alltel here.

Go to your phone and look at the Menu/Device Information.

Re: Stuck in roaming

Thanks CC...Ok I am having the same issues with my ppc 6700. All calls roaming on 1X only and I am in my home area. My prl version is 20221. How can I resolve this issue.? Data works fine on EVDO, it is just all incoming and outgoing calls...It seems to have started doing this on it's own recently, was working fine before.

Re: Stuck in roaming

I have the same problem after a soft reset but it only lasts about 5 minutes or so.
