SRS WOW HD problems with Sprint wm6.1 ROM?

Anyone have a version of SRS WOW HD that works with the leaked Sprint ROM? When I install it, I lose all speaker sound after the soft reset. Headphones work but cant be wearing those 24/7. It was working fine with the alltel/JD test ROM that I was using before.

Re: SRS WOW HD problems with Sprint wm6.1 ROM?

I have the same issue. There is only 1 PPC version, as far as my searches on XDA revealed anyway. It appears this issue is unique to the Sprint version of the WM6.1 build ROM.

I'm hoping for a solution too since I love SRS WOW! HD. By the way uninstalling the SRS cab will restore your audio.

Yep, I've installed/uinstalled a couple times. Sound is fine after install, until doing the soft reset, so some registry setting or dll is the problem? Maybe one of the gurus on here can figure it out.

Thats because the SRS drivers don't kick in until a soft reset.

does anyone else find all these program incompatibilities weird after running them on multiple other 6.1 builds? i wonder why all the sudden 1/4 of them crash out.

Re: SRS WOW HD problems with Sprint wm6.1 ROM?

I was running Ghetto's v700 ROM just fine with SRS WOW. Now, with the Sprint leaked, I lose all sound. I really like that SRS app...dont want to lose it.

I've never been able to get it to work with any rom..I always get "There is no WOW HD driver loaded. The control panel will now exit."

Re: SRS WOW HD problems with Sprint wm6.1 ROM?

I guess not enough people use the app. There has to be some simple and stupid fix to make it work.
