Verizon Touch

Will the upgrades mentioned for the CDMA version of touch work for verizon version as well or is there a verizon version out there for upgrades. If this is true what upgrades do you suggest for a my verizon touch.

Re: Verizon Touch

verizon = cdma

as far as i know, the upgrades will work on verizon. you may have to install arcsoft separately to send mms though. also, you can't downgrade back.

I'm running the 3.37 radio from the Alltel ROM and a cooked ROM using PPCKitchen. I just applied a new ROM today built from the 3.02 Sprint ROM and so far have no problems.

As long as you are careful and follow directions, you shouldn't have a problem. I used the SD card method of applying the various ROM upgrades instead of activesync. There's a good thread here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=25441

Just make sure the SD card is less than 2 GB for this to work.
