Screen alignment only lasts 5 minutes then totally wacked by 1/4"

Suddenly my phones touch screen is way off on the alignment. I did a screen alignment 10 times already and it only lasts about 5 or 10 minutes then its about a 1/4 inch off either to the right or left. It almost impossible to type and you end up opening wrong apps when you push buttons or tabs. I dont know wtf to do? Anybody have a clue, I searched but didnt find anything.

What ROM are you using, version and Maker. Is it a custom kitchen ROM?

Have you tried a hard reset?

Factory rom that came with phone. Last thing I did was install slingplayer, which I uninstalled yesterday.....no difference. I also lost everything on my sd card the other day, dont know if its related.
No hard reset yet, im out of town on business and cant at the moment.
