Streaming Flash Videos

Hi I'm using the leaked sprint rom and so far everything is working nice gps is working just fine and i noticed that they included the codecs to use youtube mobile in windows media player but i tried to use both vtap and youtube player and neither work it goes to load the video and just exits anyone else having this problem?

im having the same problem with youtubeplayer. did you say you got youtube to work in wmp? how?

go to m.youtube.com and select a video it will play in windows media player before you needed htc streaming media player

ok quick update i was able to get flash videos to stream with tcmp and the flash plugin but it took a couple of resets still no vtap or youtube player anybody have this issue also and have been able to get at least one of the programs working

Hello All,

I work for Veveo who provide the vTap service.
Could you tell me which version of vTap you have on your phone (Tools/About)?
We had a problem with many new installations of WM6 which we have fixed in the latest vTap client.
So for sure, try going to www.vtap.com from your phone and installing the latest client.

The other thing that could happen is if you have tcpmp running in the background when trying to use vTap you could experience the behavior you are seeing.

Vtap works for me, but I did download a new client yesterday. So yea, try downloading the latest version, maybe that will help.

im using the current version and that fixed the problem for me thanks at least for vtap now if only i could figure out youtube player i'd be set

Also for those using it head over to xda-developers there is a new version of the youtube player that works
