A few different problems

Hi, I have the ROM that was around when the first ALLTEL rom was released (Bell -> ALLTEL -> JD) and everything was working fine... til now. No, it has nothing to do with the GPS not working, and my internet still works. But My text messages do not play the sound I assign to it, nor does it vibrate.. Caller ID shows a totally random number, not even close to the one that called (unless it's in my contacts, thne it shows the right name, but wrong number). I have a little satellite icon in my taskbar which won't go away. and does nothing if I click on it. and text messages, they show totally random times that were sent and recieved (i.e. it's 4PM, I send a message, and the text says it was sent at 9AM...)

So there are my issues all bundled up. I hope you guys can help me :S thanks for your time!

I had similar probs with the stock alltel ROM. I just ended up flashing OMJ's verizon 2 ROM (im using VZW) on to the top of the Alltel and my phone has been solid since.

That was faster and easier than trying to figure it out (which I never did). Also I was hopeful that my red and green buttons would work properly again (and no they still don't work)

This is a pain in the "yoh know what". I have seen this issue before but do not understand it. Hopefully someone can come and shed some light on this soon.
