GPS - Holux M-1200 and the HTC touch

Does anyone have the Holux M-1200 GPS receiver? found here-

http://www.amazon.com/ORA-M-1200-Blu...5119222&sr=8-1

I can't seem to get it to work. The GPS receiver connects and I enter the passcode (0000) but when I go to gmaps it says 'Your location' is temporarily unavailable'. It feels like I've tried everything. Anyone have any advice?

Actually, uh nevermind. It works perfectly fine if I go outside. Is this normal?

can't speak to the M-1200 and gmaps; with Garmin Mobile XT, iGo and CoPilot satnav apps, i get 7-10 satellite locks within 30 secs of connections.

Re: GPS - Holux M-1200 and the HTC touch

I have the M-1200 and mine works great... Mine will work inside my house, but will not work inside the office I work in. This probably depends on the construction of the build. Some materials will block the signal while others will not. I can pick up satellites inside my office building, but can not lock onto them.

Yeah, strangely enough, it started working in the house now, I dunno. Whatever.
