Low Battery Notification/Sound on HTC Touch

Is there a sounds and notifications option that makes the phone indicate that it is low on battery? For some reason I dont see that on my phone and all i see is the low battery icon in the Today Screen. Is there no audible sound/warning/alarm that makes you aware that your battery is low?

Re: Low Battery Notification/Sound on HTC Touch

thanks for the reply! Sprint recently did a hard reset on my phone as it was going crazy.
On the drop down menu under settings/sounds&Notifications/notifications tab, I dont see a Low Battery in there. Any idea how to get it back?

Re: Low Battery Notification/Sound on HTC Touch

Low Battery warning

By default, a PPC will sound a warning sound when the battery is running low (10%, fixed value), but there's no way to disable or change the notification. To enable this, so that it is visible in the "Sounds & Notifications" control panel, set:

HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D663-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}

Add a new key Default (REGSZ string, no quotes)
Default = "Low battery warning" (Set to whatever you want to see...)
