Help formating SD card?

Hey Guys,

My microsd went corrupt a few days ago.
I cannot transfer large files to it because it has a bad sector on it now.
So, whenever I try to format it with Windows, it gives me an error that it can't.
I tried googling it, got some programs, like an SD formatter from Panasonic. Tried formatting programs like Partition Magic, but that didn't work either.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks

Re: Help formating SD card?

Pocket mechanic should do it for you. It is well worth the $25, it also comes with a 30 day trial. Here is the link.
  • Defragment entire volumes or individual files
  • Scan flash cards for errors and repair them
  • Analyze the storage card slack space
  • Logical and low-level storage card format

Re: Help formating SD card?

Unfortunately, that doesn't work. :S
It just says "format complete" but nothing happened.

Going to try and download a linux livecd and format it through linux.
Usually that helps alot.
