Question Mass texting? Would be very helpful!

Theres gotta be some sorta app out there that allows you to select multiple contacts when setting up a text message rather then the way that WM6 has it set up where you have to add each one seperately.. anyone have an application in mind? Thanks!

this app does what its supposed to do...
It creates a TO: string, with all the numbers you select... and integrates well...
according to the phone, the texts send... but when i do this NOBODY receives them...
so, everybody take it, and try it, figure it out and tell me... cause i cant figure it out... it appears as if it should work the way its doing it... but maybe its an issue with threaded sms... someone with normal sms try it! pretty please

Nice!!!!

Just installed the Freeware prog and works great. I just logged in to see if anyone had asked the same question and low and behold there it is and there is the program, thats what I was looking for. I installed it on my Touch and it works great. I dont understand why older phone allowed a check and add for multiple contacts but WM doesnt. Anyway, thanks for the link, awesome.

Here might be a non-application approach, maybe even a bit easier...

Make a distribution list in POutlook

Instead of email addresses use the sms addy...xxxph#xxxx@whatevercarrier.com

Itll be sent via data and your email provider but show up to the rcpt just as a text msg.

If they reply it comes in as an email which means you get an archived, server copy.

Just another approach

that app is the nicest, the other one is ok but is to many steps... although id rather use the one i originally posted, cause it actually uses the threaded sms app to make the message, meaning that the outgoing message will be saved, but i cannot get it to work, at all....
