Phone doesn't wake up for new email.

Does anyone know why my Sprint touch wont wake up for email like it does for a new text message? I am running exchange server through mail2web.Thanks in advance.

It works like that by design, it is a WM thing. I believe it is because e-mail uses data and SMS uses the cell connection... I remember reading something like that.
