Does anyone use Coreplayer on their Touch?

I'd like to know if it can play VGA AVC files at full speed so that I can download video podcasts.
Thanks!

Re: Does anyone use Coreplayer on their Touch?

I use TCPMP on my touch and it does that just fine (as long as the video res is 320x240)

Post a file or where to go to and I'll check it out, most everyone here and everywhere uses coreplayer, it plays youtube great and most video file types + orb

Didn't they port coreplayer to the iphone?

Re: Does anyone use Coreplayer on their Touch?

CorePlayer works on the Touch. Just set the video decoding to GDI.

Re: Does anyone use Coreplayer on their Touch?

Is everyone that piped in actually using the Coreplayer (the one you have to pay for), or the TCPMP RC 1.2 that was free until Core decided to go with pay to play?

Re: Does anyone use Coreplayer on their Touch?

I hate to revive a dead horse...

I am *trying* my damndest to like CorePlayer 1.2.3, and I do, for video that is ON my device or YouTube. But it simply does not work with Orb, flat out. I have tried all of the different streaming formats in my Orb settings, and the only thing that will even play on CorePlayer is one of the .3gp choices, and even that is only video, no audio.
I have checked out the CorePlayer forums, and there are some complaints here and there about the same thing, but nothing concrete as to whether it should work properly or not. BTW, the same thing happens with WebGuide (an Orb alternative) - I verified.
So I am clear here - TCPMP works *fine* for streaming Orb and WebGuide stuff...the latest (and past) CorePlayer version(s) do not for me.

Anyone else seeing this or found a workaround?
