Problem w/ uninstall Palm Treaded SMS

I was wondering if anybody else is having this problem. I just received my new Sprint Touch 2 weeks ago and I loved the phone. I wanted to try out the Palm Threaded SMS app, so I installed it. Everything ran fine until i realized that any half-screen keyboard you use takes up half the screen and you cant see what you type. So I tried to revert back to the old text messaging app that the default sms program on the HTC touch. I un-installed the Palm Threaded SMS cab the uninstall failed. I tried to re-install it the Palm Threaded sms cab and uninstall it again. Still did not work or fully uninstall. So I found cody's wm6 threaded sms cab and installed that one. So far I can uninstall and reinstall that cab but I cannot still revert back to the old default sms program that comes with the Sprint Touch. Is there anyway that this can be done? Has anyone else experienced this problem?

i've had this problem on other devices where i used the Palm Threading app...and, unfortunately, the only way i was able to "completely" remove it from my phone was to peform a hard-reset (Start->Settings->System Tab->Clear Storage). this will require you to reinstall all 3rd party apps, reload contacts, etc., but at least i knew that the Threading App was completely removed from my device.

That fixed my problem in case anyone was wondering..
