HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>HTC>Biotouch>Biotouch> LeftRightFPS

FPS stands for "Frames Per Second" so setting each of those entries to 60 will make the cube flow very fast, almost as fast as your finger goes across the screen.

I can't remember where I found this - I have spent most of the last 4 days reading through posts, but I was copying some of the reg edits that sounded useful to a text file for myself in case I wanted them later.

Can you explain what these value changes actually do? My joint stereo was set to "0". What would a value of 1 or 2 (which is your suggestion) actually do? Turn on/off?

Thanks

These are found in HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Today>Keys

112 is the left "soft key"
Default = the text in the button
Open = Program it opens (if you just put a program name, like Calendar.exe it will automatically look in the Windows directory for the program)

to set the right key you will need to create the key 113 and then set its values.

Is there a way to remove the start menu from the top and put it where the "calendar" soft-key is currently?

There is a way to have a Start menu button on the bottom, but I haven't figured out how to get it off the top yet.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Today>Keys>11 2

change Default to "Start"
change Open to "htcStartMenu.exe"

this will allow you to open the Start Menu using the bottom left soft button, but it will not close it on a second press.

This may not be possible, it probably isn't but here we go anyway. Is there a hack that would enlage the 3 buttuns on the home screen that link to e-mail, text message, and missed calls?

Does anyone know if its possible to hide the battery icon that is on top, thats next to the volume icon.. I loaded the vistahide app

I tried this reg edit

Clock & Battery Icons on Top Bar

Clock
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\
"ShowTitleBarClock"=1 (enable)
"ShowTitleBarClock"=0 (disable)

Battery
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\
"TBOpt"=dword:1 (enable top battery meter) You may have to add TBOpt dword if it doesn't exist.

"TBOpt"=dword:0 (disable top battery met)

but it removes the battery icon, but then shows the time instead.. is there a way to remove both and just have network,signal,vol.

When i had my mogul, i loaded a ROM and it just had the VistaHide with no battery icon on top.. can this be done on the touch?

Use the Clock edit you have and use this for the battery:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Services>Power>ShowIcon=0

I think the time will always appear on the homescreen (it does on mine) but it won't show in programs.
