has anyone used tether or phone as modem?
I'm still having issues, phone as modem DOES NOT work, I tried it on several PC's re-installed active sync, did it with & without sync, rebooted the phone, absolutely everything I can try and I get errors every time I dial out through phone as modem, the phone says connected but the pc fails to obtain ip address and fails to connect.
Someone chime in, I love this ROM but this could force me to flash something else & I hate switching ROMs once I'm acclimated to a specific type....

I'm having issues with this rom I followed the directions. I have had it crash and hard reset itself. I have noticed that when I sync a bluetooth headset to it it works for a couple days and then my contacts mess up so I soft-reset and when I do that, it just hard-resets deleting everything. Sometimes it happens when I setup the email accounts. Something glitches to where I can't access my contacts so naturally I restart the phone and it clears everything. I have formatted and reflashed twice following the steps any suggestions?

When you look under notifications, you will see a few items that appear to be for text messages, email, etc. Check them all to vibrate. You more than likely don't have the right one checked.

everytime I install the cricket mms and arcsoft cab the phone will reset or the internet will work for a while and then all the apps stop working I have flashed the phone at least 10 times any suggestions

Any suggestions as to why my clock is not updating? I traveled yesterday from east coast to west coast and it still shows east coast time. I went under settings/personal/phone/services/time synchronization/get settings and the box is checked. The update now button does not work.

does somebody have any idea whats up with picture mail with this ROM? I loaded the sprint picture mail cab and when I get a picture mail it takes me to the sprint website and I have no way to download the photo to the phone??? Any ideas??? Other than this issue the rom is great.

I figured it out. I just need to get the older version of IE. The newer version of IE that is included with this ROM must make Sprint picture mail think you are logging on from a PC and not a PPC. Loaded the old IE and picture mail is good again.

i don't know about the old version of ie but in the new version that's included with this rom you have the option of browsing websites as a mobile device or a desktop computer.

under options and then 'other' you'll see the choice. i'm pretty sure it's set on 'desktop computer' by default. no idea why. that would be why the rom's version of ie was acting like a pc for you.

so you can have this rom's newer version of ie and still get your pics if you change that option.

just sayin.

love this rom. makes me and my phone happy.

Hey I had the same problem, found out that bluetooth is causing it not to work, disable blue tooth and teather away, temp fix hope this helps
