put the file "VOGUIMG.nbh" in the root of a FAT32 formatted SD card. The card must be FAT32 formatted, 2GB or less in capacity, and you must use 1024 for the allocation setting when formatting.

Once you have the file on the SD card, you put the card in the phone, and hold down the Power+Camera+Reset all at the same time until you see the tricolor bootloader screen, then let go of the buttons one at a time (i think) and it will go into the radio update routine.

This will NOT wipe your phone, this just updates the radio chip, so no worries there.

Anyway to do this without using an SD card, I only have 4GB cards...

i read somewhere that there is a possibility of partioning the card into 2 one partion 1 gig and the other 3 gig, dunno whether it works tho, no harm in giving it a go

I think Paragon Partition Manager will do it. I'm going to download it tonight and try it out tomorrow. I hope it works. I'm tired of carrying around an 8gb and a 2gb card just for flashing.

I had a 4 gb card, and tried to partition it into a 3gb 1gb but the computer would only recognize 1 partition. I used the 1gb as the main and tried to flash nope. I tried with my 8gb card too, and nope. oh well.

Your problem is that you are creating multiple partitions...just make a 1GB partition and leave the rest blank (unpartitioned space)

You can partition an mSD card natively in windows, by doing the following...

1. In XP/2003, Right-click on "My Computer" (or "Computer" in Vista) and select "Manage"

2. Select "Disk Management" from the left hand side, and it will show all your harddrives and connected flash/storage cards

3. Right click on the desired card, and make a 1GB partition, and then make the larger area inactive, or delete it, so it is just raw/free space (unpartitioned)

So now you have a 1GB card basically, and no other partitions on the card. For example, and 4GB card would be a 1GB partition, with 3GB free space (unpartitioned space) - shows up as a 1GB card in your phone and in Windows. Just make sure to format the 1GB partition as FAT32 with "1024 bytes" for the allocation unit size, then just follow my previous instructions on how to flash the IMG file from the root of your mSD card..
