[UPDATED 7/9/09] WDM's Generic Diamond Themed WM6.1 and WM6.5 ROMs!!!

Last night I flashed to the 2.4 ROM. I had my text messages backed up with myphone. I restored them on the phone and they were out of order. I then went back to the 1.6 ROM and used myphone again and it restored my texts normally. Do you know what was up with that? I saw there was some SMS program on the 2.4 ROM, could that have been the issue?

Also I after flashing back to 1.6 and running myphone, I tried to pull up my texts to see if it was back to normal but it would never fully open so I just went to sleep left it alone. When I woke up, it was still frozen so I did a soft reset and it restored the rest of the texts and everything was in order.

I switched back to nfsfans md2 version 1.01. I had several lock ups..unable to select multiple messages in email folders, media player saying could'nt play file yet still was able to play file, memory usage....overall was very disapointing

When restoring my texts, I noticed that 1) it takes a long time, about 2 hours. 2) after the restore the device runs slow because it appears it's loading all of the texts into memory or registering them, whatever it's doing, it has to do something with them because if you go into messaging, you can see it working at the bottom of the screen. 3) after it registers everything (about 24 hours), it seems to run fine after that, no sluggishness!

Not sure about the 2.6, but running 2.4/2.5 runs great. Thanks!

(still wondering if that performance enhancement from dette's ROM works and/or could be incorporated here)

p.s. - I don't even see dette's ROM on here anymore?? Did it get removed? I think that one tied with this one for best M2D ROM on here!

WDM, when will the new Sprint Full be up?

Love the new update to the legendary WMD 1.6 Rom, but there are small glitches here and there in WMD 2.4 Sprint.

1. On the Slide2Unlock screen, there are half icons that show up. See attached picture. It still functions like it should though.

2. There seems to be no Landscape keyboard for the Full QWERTY option. The first picture shows that there's no keyboard that shows up. The last picture shows what happens if I hit where there would be a keyboard... just ends up with those square boxes.

does pandora work on 4.1 for anybody? im using pandora version 1.1.10 and i get to the connecting screen and its stuck there for a couple of minutes then i get a network error...

if you use the sprint nav app on this ROM, does it automatically start charging you through sprint? I was just checking cuz I tried it out and it worked, but I don't need it consistently. Do I need to call and cancel?
