Re: VZW AGPS Fixed at XDA

i had to use i think .fred Task Manager to run the Dmrouter program with /DIAG arg, ##3424 didnt work and Resco didnt work.
also the modem wouldnt recognize automatically, i had to disconnect and reconnect usb, then waiting a bit while HTC Modem automatically installed in Windows.

Also did anyone have the Comm 3 as the Surf modem? seems wierd as Comm4 i thought is where GPS chip would be located.
will test the GPS soon.
EDIT: just tested. got a lock pretty darn quick near my computer!

Re: VZW AGPS Fixed at XDA

I cannot seem to get QPST to recognize my phone. It seems that I have the HTC modem driver installed as I can see it on my device manager. But when i connect my phone, my computer tries to install addtional drivers and eventually gives me an error saying that the name is already in use. This is very frustrating. I don't think it is the ROM that I am using as I have tried this on many different ones.

Anyone else have this problem?

BTW I am using a Vista machine.
