Sprint OEM packages

I will start by adding the original Sprint Touch Keyboard.

This has the predictive text in a little black bar as apposed to the white bar other HTC keyboard/pds have.

Does that OEM have issues with saving words to the XT9 dictionary?

Re: OEM Packages

Try deleting the .ADB, .CDB, and .RDB files.

These are the database files that store the words. They need to be created by the system. If they are present in the ROM, it will not work.

Took me 2 days of analyzing and trying stuff before I figured it out.

Re: OEM Packages

idk how many peple would care about this, but i find it useful, and read somewhere sometime (lol :S ) that the latest version installed something for you that enabled something else.

i know i know, pretty unspecific :S sry

Been running my own custom ROM for a month or more, never posted it as there are plenty of other ROMs out at this point. I have however gotten a good feeling for creating OEMs. At work so I can't post the list of what I have, but will later if i remember.

If there are any OEMs that people want created feel free to PM me, if I can figure it out I"ll whip up OEMs for ya. Just remember to include the CAB or link to save me some time.
