I noticed this afternoon that it just stopped "pushing" my emails. I did a manual send/receive and it's been fine ever since. I am not sure what caused it but it was the first time since I flashed on Saturday that it happened. Four hours later it's still working fine.

Re: Official HTC Touch Rom IS Here Folks!

Alright I got home and did a soft restart and attempted to install the new rom, from the
.2 version to the new one, This is the error msg I get:

Error [328]: invalid command
This update utility cannot be used for your pda phone. Please check your update utility.

I tried right clicking on the ruu and running as an admin.. and still the same.
I did a hard reset and tried again and I still got the same msg... This is annoying, has anyone else had this problem.

When i go on the htc website I save it to my pc and then run it from there. I though the file might be corrupt so replaced with a fresh download. .Keep in mind I am running Vista...Aayhelp?

Re: Official HTC Touch Rom IS Here Folks!

It will reset everything so you'll either have to redo or use something like SPB backup 2 to backup and restore in ROM upgrade mode.

This is very interesting... I tried to install in my laptop that runs xp and it is working....They should do some sort of update to support Vista because this sucks!

I have not tried this yet but I've used the SD card method before with Vista. Works great.

Here is a link http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=25441

It's an old link but seems to be still be up. Good luck!

Please confirm that the PIM data - Contacts specifically - restored competely on WM 6.1 !!

Thanks,

Scott
Yea, all of my PIM data restored with no problem.

For the record, I restored from the first "official" 6.1 rom to this one.

To be even more specific, when I upgraded from 6.0 to 6.1, I did not do any sort of restore at all. I loaded all of my PIM data back via exchange and activesync.

I've always wondered why anyone would want to "Roam Only" or force it, or whatever... I can understand "Sprint Only," to avoid roaming charges... but what benefits to you get from the reverse?
