Vogue 19588 Kitchen

Vogue 19588 GPS:
-You will need to unlock with Coke 2.31 and have radio 3.35+
-First release of 19588

This kitchen has a new format to allow easier future updates.
If downloading manually, you will need Carriers_Vogue.rar, Drivers_Vogue.rar, Generic_OEM.rar, SYS_19588_QVGA.rar, Vogue_19588.rar.

If you havn't already installed BuildOS: BuildOS Installer
Installation Instructions

Vogue kitchen is available from the Updater or manual downloads.[/QUOTE]

this might be self-evident but not to me - if we do the manual downloads (the updater didn't pick up on the new vogue kitchen), where do we put the different .rars? Thanks!!

actually I didn't. Premature post above based upon the updater showing the new vogue kitchen was available. When I try to update it says vogue drivers not found. Bummer, huh? Probably a good thing for me, though, as I need to go into my office. I figure by the time I get home later today, it'll be good to go for some happy cooking!

rars go in the kitchen folder, the selection...txt goes in the project folder

I got the drivers not found error as well but grabbed them from manual downloads. New toys!!!! Yay!!!!!

Missing .rar fixed.

All of the .rars go in the kitchens folder.

Ok. I think this was a great idea. It should be much easier to update with this format. Great work...

Question.. Is this new build using drivers from the new sprint release?

Will there be a 3.03 release or will this be the new standard of updating?

I justed flashed and I can't get past the 2nd splash screen. I just cooked up a second rom and will flash again. I removed battery and hardreset but nothing.....

Any advice???

Well i flashed stock and installed most things i want.. but hmm I may have use the kitchen just to get prime contacts.

Manually downloaded all of the items ... when I ran the updater, it was (repeatedly) unable to find different files, so I went ahead and got them from the download site
Ran BuildOS and cooked a Vogue_19588 rom
First build with this kit completed without error
Added a good bit of stuff (RUU_signed.nbh = 70,564kb)
RUU flashed fine
I immediately hard-reset after the first splash screen
Booting after hard-reset, the phone appears to be locked at the second splash screen

Maybe I selected startup-animation and this option is having a problem.

Will rebuild without startup animation.

yup. stuck on 2nd slash screen as well. patience is a virtue. Anybody tried this with 0 oems or anything to be sure there's no conflicts? Thanks!
edit: I have coke2.31 unlocker and then 3.42 radio. kitchen 3.02 worked awesome. Flashing back to that now? This is fun!
edit: new kitchen is also 3.02, I just meant that I was flashing back to the last version of it, after flashing leaked sprint exe to get out of my stuck mode.

Same here tried two different builds and still stuck as well on second splash screen. Will try a bare bones build next.

The only file updater couldnt download is vogue 19588 Kitchen base. what file would that be in manual? I cant seem to locate it. I assume its the vogue 19588.rar

It's all fixed now. I had uploaded an old file. Either run updater or download Vogue_19588.rar manually.

for now, 3.02 is correct ... that is was the 19588 effort was started on

the stuck on 2nd splash screen was apparently a by-product of moving beyond 3.02

I am only responding to let you know it is ok that you are at 3.02 as this is what I was told in PPCKitchen chat.

Updater just says "Connecting to server" once I selected all the new files to download. I KNOW I have a fast enough connection to get facilitate the download but it just won't start.

Any ideas? Bandwidth issue maybe?

ok got everything updated correctly no errors using downloader now. I installed first build I had issues with diamond keyboard and sprint navigation everytime I cliked the keyboard to enter my name is just keeps minimizing and I can't change keyboard while sprint nav is running. I am building new rom with orig touch keyboard
