Re: Development: Let's Compare our ProvXML's!
Anyone want to tackle the mxipupdate_oemoperator_?.provxml's and strip them down? I can live with most of them, but #3 is wreaking havoc with my custom cube oem. So can I just delete it?

100 is a bunch of file moves for the start menu and whatnot. If you wanted to remove it and test around, it should be save. Just keep a copy. 101 is a keeper. There is a lot of values you can edit throughout the file, but most of it is stuff you need to keep. 102 is mostly phone settings and today menu edits. Some of it I don't know what they do, so I would keep them in to be safe. 103 is obviously cube crap. Delete ASAP! lol |

I never really do this, but I'm gonna bump this thread just in case this can be of use to anyone now that there's a flashing craze with the new official ROMs out.

This is how I setup my Internet Explorer favorites.
First I delete all of the existing items and add each of my fav's. I actually read how to do this on the MSDN reference sites that the two of you linked to in the PROVXML reference thread. Best regards, -boggsie Code:

This has undoubtedly been posted all over as REGEDIT4 entries, but this is how I do it in PROVXML ... of course, I didn't write the XML, I converted it with the nifty utility rgu2xml

My exchange server at home is setup with a free self-signed certificate that works, but needs to be imported before mail can be sent/received from the device.
The neat thing about PPCKitchen, is that the syntax / setup of many of these PROVXML items is in the KITCHEN\*.RAR files, so you can use them as a guide. Personally, while I like to have the kitchen produce the perfect rom, I also like to string these settings together in a _setup.xml file that I insert into a RegSettings.cab file with MakeCab.exe.
