Re: SRS WOW HD sound for vogue
Ok, I tried every version of SRS WOW HD I could find with the 6.1 leaked sprint ROM. To make a long story short, they all work through bluetooth headset but kill the sound on the rest of the phone.
I then flashed to dharvey46451's nicely though-out almost oem 6.1 rom (verstion 2.1) located here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=26776. I can confirm that SRS WOW HD is works great, as does the advanced control panel. I extracted the wavedev.dll from dharvey's rom and am attaching it here. Someone please try pasting into the windows folder of the sprint 6.1 leaked rom. Let us know how it goes. Also, I am also attaching every version of the SRS software I found (all from the xda thread). I note that the almost oem rom is based off of build 19209.1.0.2. It seems to be created from the ppcgeeks kitchen. I am seriously considering flashing my own rom off of the same build. After trying out the almost oem rom, I do not see any considerable benefits of staying with the leaked rom at this time. Nevertheless, I will continue to help with attempting to find a solution to the problem. I am certain that future ROMS can benefit if the compatibility problem can be solved. You also might not want to unzip the file until you copy it to your device. Activesync prolly wont let you copy a dll file unless is zipped. |

Re: SRS WOW HD sound for vogue
I took the plunge and cooked a rom with the 19209 base. I am very happy with the rom and srs wow is working perfectly. gps is working faster than with leaked too.

Re: SRS WOW HD sound for vogue
I'll see if I can find some time to figure out how to do this over the weekend. (I used build os from ppckitchen.org. I've never tried to physically get my kitchen files from this software before).
