WM6.1 19701 Released, Rev.A and GPS support (CHS ROM, SYS & XIP)
 

Hey, this is the newest WM6.1 core revision, it is the fastest & stablest revision I used.
1) filesys improved;
2) media player improved;
3) activesync prcoess lead time improved;

I built it for 6900 Rev.A revision, the GPS function works, please refer the below photos compared with XV6800. But it is the CHS revision, you could use my XIP to build the US one.

Notes:

1) Before flash it, please make sure you have 2.31 bootloader unlock which was released by CoKo.
2) It included 3.37 Radio update, if you are the lower radio revision, it will restore your PPST setting to factory.
3) Enable GPSOne setting via QPST.
4) As I tested, the PRI2.01_003 is not good for GPS, the 1.33_003 one is good.

Please note the 19701OS files are only the core files, if you already have an ENG WM6.1 Kitchen, you just need replace the same files and RGU.

For the OEM folder, you must use the REV.A from Alltel new ROM, it is important.

I don't mind searching the threads but could you point me in a direction regarding the XIP to build this in english?

Went to the D/L site and it requires a downloader called Raysource, which is said to contain Malware on a few other sites I googled, so I think I'll pass for now..............

The raysource is safe for your computer, don't worry about it.

I thought 19700 was the latest?

Anyhow to change to English, just fill in correct values ex.

0409 and 1033

19700 is from SP, 19701 is from PPC.
To convert to English, just need modify the SYS. Remove the 0804 and replace it with 0409.
