install the htc home customizer, remove contacts tab, use the cube

ive noticed that for some reason it defaults to location off when i restart the phone, even though on is chosen in the settings. when you go into options/services/location settings and back out (you dont even have to change it) it turns back on

I bet the names you had disappeared in your favorite people's tab were not on your cube? The favorites tab and the contact side of the cube have to correspond with one another. I'm not sure why, but you cant dial somebody's number from the favorites tab that isn't on your cube, nor save their picture/name there. Basically you can mimic the contacts you have on the cube on the tab and it will work, but if not, no go.

I think I read somewhere that if you disable the cube all together, you can use the tab as normal.

I don't have an issue with mine. I just checked it and it was ON, then reset the phone and it was ON.

A bug I noticed was that the ## codes are not working. I'll enter ##DATA#, it'll come up for a split second and then go back to the dialpad.

Do you mean the edits don't stick or something after a reset?

installed quickmenu and it confilcts with the large start menu so that makes this tough for me. I have had numerous lockups due to that but other than that it's pretty flawless.

oh one other thing is the memory is around 54mb when the oem is at 64mb so when I use netfront web it causes me to have low memory errors
