Altering Stock Alltel Programs and Settings.

I went back to stock after using a custom rom and radio, it seemed to be giving me reception issues. So I'm back to stock, but with the updated rom directly from HTC for Alltel, it was released on 7/7/09.

Anyhow, how do you get rid of the programs that the alltel touch pro forces you to have in manila in windows stock 6.1 from the factory? When you try to remove them from the list it has them as locked. Also can you just delete their root directories with no issues, as you cant remove them with /remove programs in the settings area.

TIA

Re: Altering Stock Alltel Programs and Settings.

Find Shushi's Diamond TF3D Config and download and install it (google will find it at xda). Once installed you will need to go to Program Files/Diamond TF3D and delete Tweeks.xml. Then, run the program. There is a Program Launcher tab that lists all the programs on your program tab. You may have to go to the lock tab to remove the locks first, but you should be able to get rid of the Alltel programs.
