Alltel touch pro windows 6.5 rom help??!

Okay so iv never flashed a rom, and I want to put windows mobile 6.5 on my touch pro. I'm going to use a howto guide for it. But I have so e questions!
1) if I need to, can I go back to stock rom?
2) if iflash back to stock rom of something happens (like my keyboard dies) can I send it back still under warrenty?
3) is there a 6.5 rom that has the working windows mobile marketplace?
4) can you reccommend a good rom for 6.5?!

1. yes. you just flash the shipped rom for your device here.
2. yes. after you flash the shipped rom, just relock it here.
3. yes...several of them do. they're all here.
4. see link in #3.

I recommend this ROM for your Alltel TP: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ghlight=alltel

It's an older winmo 6.5 ROM, but works great with my Alltel TP. I've flashed a few other ROMs & keep going back to this one. It has Windows Marketplace already built in ready for install, but I haven't used it...so no idea if it works.

(I'm still using version 1.9, so I can't vouch for the later versions of the ROM)

extract that rom download with winrar or similar. then, connect your phone to computer and establish activesync. then, open the romupdateutility.exe file, and the flashing process will begin.
