touch pro not charging
 

need some help , wondering if anyone has had this problem before, ive tried three different chargers but phone just wont charge, light on phone doesnt blink like it used to when it was charging, can anyone help

I had this happen to mine, only worked on certain chargers although all were the chargers that came with it and previous phones of the same style. Had to have it replaced after techs replaced the charging port and still had the problem. The sprint touch pro's charging port is able to disconencted and replaced unlike previous phones but there was still a problem with mine.

have you been taking alot before charging or while charging also doing some serious interneting.

if you are not aware....when the phone gets alittle warm/hot...the charging circuit will shut down till the phone cools off.

There are numerous threads about this issue.

1.) Did you try Charging it via USB?

2) If not are you using a dedicated wall adapter or the usb converter thing...???

3) [Nevermind]

4) Do you have the setting enabled [start/settings/system/power] If so disable it...

Here is a fix that worked for me...odd though. A charger I bought for my TP stopped charging my TP...so I installed my usb plug into my phone (this one http://www.dragonsteelmods.com/Image.../htc32usb3.jpg) and had the AC charger connected to the plug...and it charged. So I bought a couple of plugs on ebay and left it attached on the AC chargers and it has been working since...

I had the same problem then I bought a new battery. The battery worked for about 3 months then it started heating up like crazy while charging. This is a issue with some TP's. The battery I bought never stopped taking a charge but I'm thinking it would have if I kept it. That's something I would keep an eye on and see if the unit/battery starts heating up on you.

checked my settings and i had the wrong box checked off, solved my problem. thanks to wtf

my first tp had an issue where the usb port just died, end story, new tp
