Closing while typing text, Sends to draft?

Hey All!

Sorry if im repeating a prior question, But this has really been bugging me. My htc touch pro (vanilla version) keeps canceling the text that i start typing, then sending it off to the drafts folder and instantly closing to the home screen. Any idea how I can fix this issue?

I've had the same problem, and I'm 95% certain that this is the cause:

Note the placement of the TXT button near Shift and FN. Often, I'll be using the hardware keyboard for texting, and suddenly I'm searching for a contact and half of my text ends up there. I'm presuming that the TXT button is the culprit.

If you have a task manager like MagicButton running, simply reopen Messaging from the bar- you should be able to continue from whence you stopped.

Yea but is it really that ridiculous that everytime i want to send a text, i have to find the part from the task manager? I mean why does it close on me in the first place... I Don't think im accidentally hitting txt every time?
