Question Echoing problem

I recently got a sprint touch pro i put the energy rom on and as soon as i did that anybody that called me got a real bad echo when they talked (i didnt hear it they were hearing themselves.) I thought it may be the radio rom so i changed from sprint to us cellular, which made no difference. Then I changed from the energy rom to the reflections rom which made no change either. With the stock sprint rom on I didnt have any issues but now with the different roms i do. Is there anyway to eliminate the issue without using the stock rom? I like the two roms Ive been using and dont want to use the stock rom but im sure my callers dont want to hear themselves talk. Is there a different radio rom or something i can try?

Thank you in advance.

Re: Echoing problem

after you flash the rom let it run thru its set up then do a hard reset by pressing power, vol down, the center key and the reset button all at the same time .. try radio 1.12.34F from sprint i use it and dont have a problem .. US Cellular is a GSM carrier sprint is a CDMA carrier could be a problem

US Cellular GSM??? I thought they was CDMA...anyway, turn your volume down on your ear piece, that should fix the issue.

Re: Echoing problem

Turn your earpiece down while you are in call. What is happening is the other person is hearing themselves since the sound of them is going out of the earpiece and back into the microphone then going back to them...they are hearing the round-trip delay. I get this a few times with other folks I loaded TP's for with the louder earpiece fix. I just tell them to turn their phone down a bit, once they mash the button, I no longer hear myself.
