Sms chat lag

im using touch flo with the new build with a custom rom and when i use sms chat it takes about 8 to 10 seconds to senf the text before i have control to go back to the main screen. any one else have this?

Which custom ROM are you using? Many times, the speed depends on the services running and the pagepool. It also depends on how many texts you have saved in your inbox.

still dont get the pagepool thing but yeah there are a ton of texts. ill try that but its not just the sms, it seems any rom i use i eventually cant get back to the phone when i want without a huge lag and then half the time i push the phone button enough time that it dials my last number just tryiing to get back to the phone screen

how many txt messages do you have? your not using poutlook? i use poutlook and they have a chat like feature that i use, Threadded messaging" anyways usually when this hapens to mean this is a clue to delete all my txt messages. ill check how many i have and i haev about 4k. have fun deleteing them all. mine took over an hour
