no such luck.. It's been that way for a good while now.. Was hoping with the release of the hero they would figure this out, but i guess we can wait a while longer.

Re: Android for the touch pro

Correct me if im wrong but wasn't the whole philosophy behind Android that they wanted to develop something that would run on all sorts of devices? Did they change their mind and lock up their OS? I feel like getting android to work on devices shouldn't be a matter of " hacking" it. I thought it would have official support from google...

from what i understand it is and open os.....and it works on everything gms mainly because thats the phones its made for. when the hero came out on cdma i thought we would get the cdma drivers but thats why i started this to find out if they did im also starting one at xda, from what i hear them guys and getting closer and closer to getting cdma working.....everything else works just not calling and such

Re: Android for the touch pro

sadly its not running well at all on the raph800. earlier versions ran better on it, but didnt have actual phone functionality. I remember playing with it and seeing how smooth the system itself ran. If they can get it functional, cool, but its basically still an alpha for us at this point.

Re: Android for the touch pro

The Touch Pro is just as powerful as the Hero same processor and ram and whatnot. :-\ I'm really hoping for some progress on this too.
