screen resolution with porting manillas

i remember seeing a program where it was possible to change the screen resolution.. now with that i was thinking b4 instead of porting the manilla because of the screen size.. use the program to drop our resolution to use with the manilla.. i mean i kno its a sacrifice with screen picture.. but doesn't that free up some battery also?

just thinking if this was poss... if not then close this up...

Re: screen resolution with porting manillas

i also remember seeing a program that did this but it was a vga to qvga conversion. not vga to wvga. dont know where u got ur information but wvga (manila 2.5's native resolution) is larger than the touch pro's. moreover, its a different aspect ratio so things would be much smaller

(btw resizing the manila tabs is the easy part of the porting process from what i hear. getting the packages working and stable is the B#&@%! lol)
