Low Memory Issue
 

Hello I have a HTC Touch PRO and have Mighty rom, I was wondering i nothing loaded extra on it and it says i have 90.00mb avaliable program memory and 74.00 in use, I dont have anything in it , does anyone know what could cause this???

that's your problem.. it's gimped out of the box with less ram.

Not sure what Mike sets his pagepool at these days...

But you should reset the pagepool on the rom you flashed to between 6-10 and see if that gets you in the 50% area of rom use.

Mike used to include a pagepool changer in the RUU folder of his ROM releases...

Run that program, point it to the nbh file, reset the pagepool and close...
Then reflash the rom and you should be good to go.

Same problem. Switched to Enegery Rom. MUCH BETTER. I would switch if I was you. I couldnt run 2 programs at the same time on Mighty Rom with my vzw Touch Pro.

Let me know if you try that one or another.

Worked for me. I had updated to the latest MightyRom. 1 or 2 apps would be about all it could handle. Ran the pagepool changer - 16 down to 8. Reflashed, showed 60% allocated. Started TouchFlo 3D and it went to 74%. Usually it would be near 90% at this point. Whole process took about 15 minutes. Now I just need to set my apps back up which takes a lot longer :drunken:
but one big, temporary headache is a lot better than a consistent, nagging one.

boreds and SSK's roms are designed for the VZN TP. if you havent tried them i would suggest you at least give them a shot. im running boreds with 6.5 and it runs at the 60-63% mark. i do have issues with text locking the phone up and it takes a few min for it to clear. not sure what the problem is though.

I use Nemesis and have the page pool to 16, I don't use the touch flow because windows default has all I need time weather & contacts, I started with Juicy which was ok, then Energy which I liked, then Mighty again ok, but Nemesis is the only one that hasn't crapped my battery to hell.

I highly suggest give NFSFAN's rom a try. By far the best, very lightweight and very solid
