How to change default opera 9.5 to opera 9.7b?
 

I downloaded 9.7 beta but it shows up in the Program list not as the default browser.
Couldn't find in search directions to change it to the default browser & bring over my booksmarks from 9.5.

Any help appreciated.

I had problems getting away from the ROM Opera browser. So what I did was download the newest one, installed it, went to the preferences and made it the default browser and then deleted the link to the ROM version. I then got tired of Opera and disabled it as the default browser and am now using Intersmell Exploder.

Thanks for the hint.
I actually lost the OE browser when I installed 1 of the Opera 9.7b1 cabs from xda.
Reloaded a cab for 9.5 & everything seems 99% now. :???:
If I am feeling brave I might go & download 9.7b again & set it as default.
