EV data icon says dial-up

Greetings. I recently received a new touch pro cause my original died. Last night i tapped the ev icon (not sure why) and it says dial-up. For the life of me i cant remember if my last one said that or not. Guess what im getting at, is that supposed to show "dial-up"? Im only asking because my speeds are all over the place. Can somebody please enlighten me on this. Thanks will be given. Thanks,
dschoenike

Re: EV data icon says dial-up

That's just showing the name of your data connection. If you go to Start->Settings->Connections->Connections->Manage Existing Connections, you'll see you have a connection to #777 called Dial-Up. You can rename it to whatever you want (mine is just called "DATA")

Re: EV data icon says dial-up

Thanks for the reply. Im unable to rename it though. When i click the ev icon it shows ths Sprint PCS (dial-up) Im just concerned that im not getting rev a speeds. Although my last test results were 1.5 down and 600kbps up. Thats rev A i guess. Thanks again.
