Skip the touch pro entirely...get the touch pro 2!

I wish I could, the TP2 and the Imagio are out of my price range since I am looking for a phone without a contract.

I don't know your financials but the touch pro 2 is light years over the tp. I had a tp as a advanced exchange for a mogul and it was great except the battery life is s?it. I had to carry an extra battery and nearly wore out the back switching mid day every day. I have only the OEM 1500 mah batt in my 2 and had the back off 3 times in a month. screen is huge by comparison. I wouldn't even consider the pro now. Just my opinion, your results may vary

Re: Need some help on a buying decision

The TP has a hardware issue with the Keyboard ribbon pulling out. I would go to TP2 but money is a issue as you said. You may wish to use on screen keys on the TP if you can find one.

10 different people 10 different answers, Someone earlier sugguested getting an alltel touch pro, I would suggest the same thing considering they are now the same company.

Re: Need some help on a buying decision

Personally I would save up my money and just get an HD2 when it comes out. Seriously, the HD2 is going to be an amazing phone, destroying the MAJOR shortcomings of the TP.
