hey guys, i just got done flashing my verizon HTC touch pro with energyROM and it's significantly faster and more responsive than the stock rom.

but i've got a quick question.

what do the carrier specific DCD file's have on them?

there was a link with them on there, but i never quite understood what they do.

some do a lot more then others, but basically, they usually just have data settings and pri and prl. They are realy helpful if you're reprogramming your phone to work on a different carrier.

When the energyrom first came out, it didn't have the data settings programmed in, like most roms do, so most people were installing the carrier cabs to get the settings. He eventually started cooking the roms with the data settings in there so there was basically no more need for the carrier cab.
