PPCGeeks - No Data Connection after a call

Can someone help me out or point me in the right direction please.

Ever since using 6.5 roms, builds 23000+ if im not mistaken i don't remeber if it happened with earlier 6.5 builds, I have been having data connection issues. When ever I make or receive a call and I hang up, data connection takes some time to restore. It stays in 1X mode for more than 5 minutes some times. I know you can still have data connection in 1X mode but during this time after a call it doesn't connect. I usually have my IM+ open and after a call IM+ doesn't reconnect for awhile. Any idea why im having this issue? I am currently using radio 1.03.09V. Also using a rom build from Calkulin's Kitchen. I've also had this problem with various NRG Roms and DCD roms.
