My TP screen is not working correctly
 

Im pretty new to the PPC world but here is my problem. I have a US Cellular TP1. The screen got the oil slick thing going on underneath it and then a week later (yesterday) the screen stopped recognizing my touch or the stylus. So the screen comes up but I cant do anything with it.

I got it new 2 months ago from a different US Cellular, so no warranty on it.

Is this the result of me messing up a setting or will I have to send it in somewere?

Hopefully you have your contacts backed up but a hard reset may be your only option.

I have my contacts in outlook so when i set it up and sync it again they should be there.

I guess I will go look up hard reset info and try it out

Turn phone off, or pull battery for a few seconds. Press round button and hold, press volume down and hold, press power button and hold. With all 3 held, it will give instructions to hard reset. But I think your phone is done. I found a link on ebay for a new screen and digitizer but for $60 bucks, do you want to tear it apart and replace it?
