Touch Pro + Voice Command + Bluetooth + Car's stereo deck question

Anyone using voice command on their tp to connect to their car via bluetooth? If so, i have a question about the messaging option.

I can't seem to get voice command messsage notifications working through my car. By messaging, i mean getting it to read my texts aloud. I can get it working just fine if i switch it to over device speakers in the voice command options, but when i try bluetooth it doesn't work. I've triple checked all the settings too.

Any ideas or similar experiences?

I have been trying to use VC through my car's BT system but can't seem to get it to work. I really don't want to create all new voicetags for people. It would be nice to get voice notifications as well. The car is a 2008 Mitsubishi Evolution X MR

I cannot find it but there is a program that forces these commands via bluetooth. I cannot find it right now but I will keep looking.

I think I now have this problem too, with the new Sprint OEM rom posted Friday. Can't get the call announce to happen over my BT device even though it's working for music.

I had Voice Command settings under Notifications button to "Announce notifications using Bluetooth hands free only" with "Only during free time" (a setting I don't understand) checked - yet, with my BT headset powered on and working it still came out of the phone's speaker.

I unchecked the "Only during free time" box in the hopes that will help, but haven't been able to test if it's helped yet. Ideas appreciated.

Free time refers to whether or not you have a calendar event scheduled during that time frame that marks you "busy". This is helpful so it isn't reading incoming mails/messages during meetings and such.

so it's announcing the text messages and reading them aloud for u over cars speakers?

Not sure what you mean. If "Hands-Free" is one of the profiles the BT device uses and the box is checked, shouldn't it already work? I've never seen a "wireless headphone" profile available for my BT devices.
