I can't activesync my phone. I am using AS 4.5. My device it not even listed in device manager. It is not a phone problem because I can plug into a different computer with no issues. Using XP 64 bit.

once you plug in your phone it should find the drivers. you didnt use the TP as a removeable drive last time you synced did you?

No it doesn't find the drivers and it never looks for drivers. Also no on a disk drive.

What service pack do you have installed on your pc? SP1 or SP2?

XP 64 bit SP2

Very odd, SP2 should be the best shot you had, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling ASync? Now i remember while back i had to install an older version of Active Sync in order to connect my device keep me up to date, searching for the best answer right now.

I have even uninstalled and then deleted all registry entries and the program folder for active sync.

i have the same issue with vista ultimate and my touch pro. If i reboot my pc, and then immediately plug in the phone i can sync. I think perhaps my 20 USB devices are causing some issues.

A reboot doesn't help my problem

Have you tried doing this?
Click Start > Settings > Connections (tab)
Choose USB to PC
Removed the check mark next to "Enable advanced Network functionality" and clicked OK.
