Battery centric ROM

I have TP w/ Sprint Stock ROM and Radio. I know I get bad reception at home and at work. So on average 30min talk/day and no data use, my TP has to be charged once a day before I goto bed. Sometimes I can go 1.5 days.

Past 2 weeks, I have flashed 3 ROMs. Radio stay as stock Sprint. All of them eat up the battery like no tomorrow.
- SsS-ROMv0307 (23017)
- Calkulin's Visual (23053)
- Black Dragon Titanium (23053)

I want to play with new ROM. Any suggestion?

For Radio, I know I should use Verizon for better reception
============================================
Stock radio, I get:
Rx Power = -98 to -103 dbm
Rx Ec/Io = 25 db

Sprint radio 1.12.34F:
Rx Power = -98 to -102 dbm
Rx Ec/Io = -8.5 to -10 db

Verizon radio 1.03.09V:
Rx Power = -95 to -98 dbm
Rx Ec/Io = -5 to 8.5 db

Re: Battery centric ROM

try DCD, nothing fancy but its quick and my battery seems to last the longest with it, although I have a verizon TP, I have tried many roms and none seem to be as stable as DCD's, everytime i try a new rom, its just a big waste of time and i go back to DCD, just installs all the programs you want via cab

Re: Battery centric ROM

V0209 is the best SsS version, the new ones are too buggy.
I found the best radios are Verizon's 1.03.09V and Sprint's 1.12.34, both provide good performance and better battery life.

Here's SsS v0209 to download

Re: Battery centric ROM

DCD gives me the battery life, but the Silence Donation is a very close second. Make sure you have location setting turned off under phone services, this one trick helped my battery life greatly and if I need GPS I just tick it back on and run HTC quick GPS and lock in seconds. Also try another radio. The verizion 1.03.09F (I think) dropped my signal at home from 100-101dbm to 88-90dbm and this helped out alot too. If your not using data you can force 1x mode that will help out as well
