Touch Pro buttons wont work after new rom installed

Hi ,

I installed juicys rom 8 the other day and the phones buttons have stopped working. The enter button and the other two next to it do not work anymore when I try to place a call or use the home button. I can dial a number but cannot place the call because the button does not work at that time. the phone is toasted right now and I need some help. If anyone can help please let me know. Thanks this site is the best.

Put it in bootloader and reflash it or flash a different ROM. Also, remember to hard reset twice after flash.

Re: Touch Pro buttons wont work after new rom installed

how did you flash, via activesync or SD card? if you flashed via AS you dont need to put it in bootloader, just run the rom utility. also, you do not have to do 2 hard resets 1 will do the job.

Re: Touch Pro buttons wont work after new rom installed

The driver that controls the keys on the front is HTCNavi.dll. I recommend using a tool like to SKTools to see if the device driver is running. There is also a utility called NavDbgTool.exe that will let you test those buttons. You can find it in this thread:

Good luck,
